What are PTFE balls?

PTFE balls are non-metallic fluoropolymer spheres selected for very low friction, broad chemical resistance, electrical insulation and non-stick surface behavior. They are used primarily as functional valve and sealing components rather than high-load precision bearing balls.

Virgin PTFE and filled or modified PTFE grades can differ in hardness, creep, wear, color and chemical behavior. The resin grade, working medium, pressure, temperature and seat design should be confirmed before production.

Are PTFE balls suitable for precision bearings?

They are generally selected for low-load valves, sealing and chemical service, not high-load or high-speed precision bearings.

Are PTFE balls resistant to every chemical?

PTFE has exceptionally broad resistance, but exact compatibility must still be checked for the medium, concentration, temperature, pressure and any fillers.

What is the difference between virgin and filled PTFE?

Fillers or modifications can improve wear, creep or dimensional behavior, but they also change purity, color and chemical performance.

What temperature can PTFE balls withstand?

PTFE material is often referenced across roughly −200°C to +260°C, but the actual ball and assembly limit depends on load, pressure, exposure time, grade and mating components.

Can PTFE balls be supplied in colors?

Natural white is common. Modified, filled or pigmented grades may be available subject to formulation, quantity and application review.

Can I order small quantities?

Yes. Samples and small lots can be coordinated where size and material are available; custom production may require a minimum run.
