What are phosphor bronze balls?

Phosphor bronze balls are copper-tin alloy spheres containing controlled phosphorus. The alloy family combines corrosion resistance, wear performance, fatigue strength and useful electrical conductivity.

CuSn5, CuSn6 and CuSn8 provide different balances of strength, formability and conductivity. The exact alloy and condition should be specified for marine, electrical and valve duty.

Tin content changes strength, spring behavior, formability and conductivity. Use the exact alloy standard required by the application.

Can phosphor bronze be used in seawater?

Is phosphor bronze magnetic?
