C11000 ETP COPPER / ELECTRICAL & THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY

Pure Copper Balls

High-conductivity, non-magnetic copper spheres for electrical contacts, thermal systems, plating, art, research and specialty assemblies.

Pure Copper Balls supplied by SDBALLS
PRODUCT REFERENCE / FINAL SPECIFICATION BY QUOTATION

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

What are pure copper balls?

Pure copper balls are soft, ductile metal spheres produced from high-conductivity copper such as C11000 ETP. Their electrical and thermal conductivity, formability and non-magnetic behavior distinguish them from harder copper alloys.

Copper is not a bearing material for high-load rolling contact. Purity, oxygen content, temper, surface oxidation and dimensional method should be matched to the electrical, thermal or decorative purpose.

QUALITY & DOCUMENTATION

Build the evidence into the purchase order.

Document requirements should be defined before quotation so the inspection method, sampling level, traceability and external testing can be planned correctly.

  • Material identity or alloy / ceramic grade verified against the agreed purchase specification
  • Diameter, tolerance and geometry inspected using the method appropriate to the ordered precision level
  • Hardness, density, wall thickness or coating hardness tested when applicable to the product
  • Surface condition, finish and visual limits checked against approved samples or drawings
  • Roundness / sphericity or roller geometry inspected when specified
  • Lot identification and batch traceability maintained through controlled records
  • Material certificates and inspection reports available when agreed before quotation
  • Third-party testing, compliance documents and customer inspection plans supported by agreement

PRODUCT FAQ

Answers for engineering and purchasing teams.

Are copper balls suitable for bearings?

Generally no for conventional high-load bearings because copper is soft. They are selected mainly for conductivity, ductility and specialty contact.

What is the difference between ETP and oxygen-free copper?

They differ in oxygen content, conductivity behavior and suitability for vacuum, welding and electronic applications. Specify the required standard.

How can copper tarnish be controlled?

Sealed anti-tarnish packing, coatings, plating and controlled handling can reduce oxidation, but exposed copper naturally changes color.

Can copper balls be drilled or plated?

Yes. Holes, flats, threads, nickel plating and other custom work can be reviewed from a drawing.

Can you provide material certificates and inspection reports?

Yes. State the required certificate, inspection method, sampling plan and report format before quotation so documentation can be included in the supply plan.

Do you support samples and small-quantity orders?

Yes. SDBALLS Industry Corp. supports North American prototype, qualification, repair, R&D and small-batch requirements, subject to material, size and production availability.
